TELLERMATE vs. AEROS
TELLERMATE vs. MINDSPRING

Game 1: TELLERMATE 3 • AEROS 8

ATLANTA, GA – In an ugly start to a seemingly long evening of hockey, Tellermate fell (again) to the uber-aggressive Aeros. In a game marked by poor Tellermate passing, flared tempers and communal team play that can best be described as the ever-productive "head up your ass" technique, Tellermate couldn't seem to get anything going.

After a first period assist to tie the game 2-2, Greg "You Can't Put A Bounty on a Man's Head!" Rolnick, slipped further and further into frustration at his sloppy performance.

Consequently, he apparently switched to "Plan B," and began hacking, poking, hooking, trash talking, and head-diving all over the damn place. Racking up two separate trips to the box (for hooking and fighting, respectively), it was not his finest moment.

When the final buzzer sounded, Tellermate skated off the rink in disgust and tried to use the next hour to prepare themselves for their upcoming match.

Game 2: TELLERMATE 14 • MINDSPRING 3

Shaking off their earlier disappointment, Tellermate took to the rink and vowed not to lose. As a matter of fact, Greg "Rock 'em Sock 'em" Rolnick, was overheard announcing that if Tellermate lost he was moving to Chicago...

But this game was definitely not a repeat performance of the Aeros fiasco, as Tellermate launched an offensive attack that began in the first moments of the game and lasted until the final buzzer.

Taking full advantage of Mindspring's sloppy defensive play, Tellermate deftly controlled the ball, setting up plays and keeping the action deep in Mindspring's zone for most of the match.

With his confidence restored, Rolnick went back to his scoring ways and notched ANOTHER hat trick as well as posting two assists, during the Tellermate routing of Mindspring. Not only that, but he recovered his face off technique that had been apparently misplaced earlier in the evening, and repeatedly won the ball to set up the Tellermate attack.

Next week supposedly marks the beginning of the Kudzu League playoffs, so STAY TUNED!!!
