this pregnancy is getting a little corny

Well, here we are at Week 24. Let's discuss, shall we?

Prof. Goldblatt has supposedly gained about four ounces since last week, which places her at just over a pound. She's also approximately a foot long, or about the length of an ear of corn. She's still on the skinny side, but she's starting to fill out and get more plump. You can just hear her now, asking, "Does this placenta make me look fat?"

The Professor's brain is growing faster and faster, and her taste buds are continuing to hone their skills. Whether this will manifest in more specific food requests, only Overboard can tell.

Finally, Prof. Goldblatt's lungs are developing branches and her skin is still fairly translucent at this point.

In Overboard news, she went out and purchased a full body pillow the other week to help her sleep. While it is probably effective, I'm sure I'm not helping things by occasionally snuggling up to the pillow and hogging it before Overboard gets into bed at night. My bad.
