grandma and grandpa come to visit*
*about four weeks ago. sorry for the delay.
Okay, I have just been slack about getting things online around here. My apologies. In my defense, work has picked up considerably and, um, I was busy saving damsels in distress from rampaging hordes of impolite Vikings who had descended upon our humble village in search of plunder and deep discounts on bulk quantities of toilet paper. Something like that. I'm kind of tired here.
Speaking of descending upon our Village...Grandma and Grandpa came to visit and we actually took a minimum amount of pictures. I don't want to delve into what that means for our Kenny cataloging skills, but I bet it picks back up again when Goldblatt arrives. Just a theory.
It was a fun visit filled with trips to Pita Inn, Hot Doug's, various other restaurants and the aquarium. Here are the pix we do have (with commentary).

This is how you know Grandpa Toot-Toot is in town.

Kenny and Grandpa in between raucous bouts of the game "Grandpa Monster." This game involves throwing your arms out to your sides and lumbering at one another like a cross between Boris Karloff and an offensive lineman. All the while shouting, "Here comes the Grandpa Monster!" Kenny is pretty good at this game.

Of course, after many rounds of "Grandpa Monster" a nap is in order.

We took everyone to the aquarium on Sunday. Here we see one of many turtles who are known to Kenny as "Crush" (of Finding Nemo fame).

Kenny and Grandma check out a tiny Crush at the turtle tank.

Grandma and Kenny stroll back to the car post-aquarium.
I wasn't kidding, folks, the picture count was pretty low this time around. Until next time, then.
