the bookshelf
I was back in Atlanta this past weekend and stayed in my old room at the folk's place. Looking for books to bring home to Kenny, I perused some of the shelves. There were a lot of great options, but I finally decided to grab some of my favorite Richard Scarry books for Mr. K. However, while checking out everything, I came across a sight that cracked me up.
On a bookshelf in the closet, my mother has stacked a number of titles including some Dr. Seuss, Mother Goose, a kid's picture dictionary, and that great children's bedtime story: Hamlet. What can I say? I was a pretty smart kid.

"Alas, poor Magilla Gorilla, I knew him well."
