da da da da da
Kenny has started making consonant sounds, mostly "da da da da da." He busts out at odd times and for random lengths of time. Just when I think he's saying "dada" and talking about me, he looks up at the ceiling light and starts happily squealing, "da da da da da!"
As much as I dislike being awakened in the middle of the night, I laughed a bit the other morning (somewhere around 4:26am) when I heard Mr. K babbling away over the baby monitor. I went in to check on him and there he was, lying on his back, grinning and jabbering away.
Even with the pronounced "dada" noises, I still think his first word might be "Sadie." The way he's staring at (and reaching for) the dog these days is pretty comical as well. But that's another post...
