look, kenny, it's uncle sol & aunt ida!

As the next post will show, last night was the wedding of our friends JP and Jennifer here in Chicago (well, Hinsdale, to be specific). Earlier in the day, we got an awesome visit from Carrie and Ben, who are in town from NY for the wedding. Due to an infamous video greeting from our wedding, Ben will forever be known as "Uncle Sol," and seltzer will always be known as "delicious." It's too much to explain, so just know that it makes Overboard and I crack up without fail to this day. Hell, sometimes we look at each other, kiss Kenny, then announce that the boy is, "delicous...delicious."

Having good friends scattered around the country is a part of growing up, but it's very frustrasting sometimes. When you do get time for visits you realize how much you miss having them around. I wonder if there's any way to con, I mean, convince, our friends to all move to Glenview? Well, a family can dream, right?
