Burping is an integral part of the eating process when you're a baby. Every ounce to two ounces, we have to stop feeding the little guy and try to get a burp (or two) out of him. While this runs the ever-fun risk of spitting up, as opposed to belching, there are many techniques one can employ for maximum effectiveness.

While many go for the over the shoulder angle, I tend to prefer the one hand under the chin and armpit technique. Although Kenny sometimes kvetches something fierce about being bent forward, I find it to be the most satisfying way to go. It's pretty amazing the sounds that a guy so small can emanate when he's got a bit of gas built up.
