glenview, we have our first houseguests

Overboard's cousins Elise & Danny came to visit us the other weekend. After relocating from Melbourne, Australia to St. Louis, MO (a natural choice, don't you think?), they are now only a few hours away, as opposed to on the other side of the world. Now, while some Chicagoans would argue that St. Louis is, indeed, another country, as a former resident I would disagree. Heck, family pooch, Sadie, hails from the 'loo, and she's okay (when she's not eating the grass in the backyard).

We had a great time showing them around our new home, and I even got to introduce Danny to professional hockey. After scoring some free tickets ('cause g-forbid I actually pay to see the Blackhawks play), we all went for an afternoon game at the UC versus the Phoenix Coyotes. As I explained to the Aussie, "Well, the game may be pretty bad, but at least the Great One will be in the building." As advertised, the 'Hawks managed to lose 3-2.

We're very excited to have more family nearby, and can't wait for their next visit, or our first chance to go down there. It's been ten years since I was last in St. Louis! Hopefully, the cops have given up on me and those unpaid tickets by now...
